Zeitgeist

The conspiracy theories on the subjects of money or 9/11 or religion or mass brain wash that you see wear off on you, because you feel you are not a part of it. You think "Well, I'm not the one who gets fooled by the media, I'm not controlled," and it might be true. But you can never be sure about the majority of the society. Conspiracy theories are constructed realities, but they are put together by research and facts. The conspiracy theorists tell their stories and then show you small pieces of how those plans are being executed. And they tell the story of life and reality in a very grim way. If you try to base your opinion on facts and common sense, you cannot overthrow their theories.

I hate how they frighten me. But even more I would hate if they were right. They implicate such threats to my freedom and happiness that I can't avoid them.
