Under certain drugs, a person is more likely to be in a state of peaceful confusion, busy trying to understand his altered experiences rather than openly engaging in the external problems that might cause him to act violently. Violence and many other physical attributes lose their status in his eyes, for they are not very interesting. At that point, there is a lot more to concentrate on in his mind. Sometimes, a sort of revelation might come concerning death, but its' purpose is purely philosophical. Death loses its' frightening values, the person regards it with an open heart, understanding how relevant it is for progress and how ridiculously most people feel about it. Even an act of brutal murder he considers with neutral emotions - a man killing a man is like a fox killing a rabbit, it is the natural state of existence. Even so, to commit a murder would not occur to him.
A man might kill for drugs when he is sober and trying to score a hit, then we are talking about crack and heroin, which have nothing to do with the experience above.
